Mid-summer haul

i've been shopping a lot because after i donated a lot of my clothes, i felt like i needed a new wardrobe.
i'm in love with coral, mint green, and pastel rose pink for the summer.

favorite purchase from h&m. when i wore it, i got so many compliments.
 exposed back zipper
i love the fringe detail on the back of this simple black tank top.

platform wedges that are super comfy.

lace bandeaus from f21 for $6.50 & rose gold detailing on h&m sandals for $15.
i was in need of some black shoes, so i bought these two at target for $17 & $12. i love it when target clearances off their shoes. they had a lot of other cute shoes on clearance too, but being a size 7, means, there's rarely ever any in my size.=(

more clearance items from target. i love the eiffel tower earrings.

shopping haul from the weekend....

i shop too much! i had to clean out my closet, again, because i needed to make room for my new items.
even though i was just at old navy the other week, i went back because they were having an extra 50% off of their clearance, and there were a few items that i wanted to get, but never did. most of my stuff was $5 and under, some were $9, but overall, excellent deals!

this was one of my favorite buys there. a black blazer with white lining detail for $5!

i also loved this pleated mini skirt for $5.

i just realized that most of the stuff i bought were black, white/cream, and Fuchsia! my favorite colors.

i also stopped by goodwill to look for some wall paper remnants, but couldn't find any. instead, found these things:
this little floral wooden purse for $5. it instantly caught my eye, and i just had to have it. i think it would be so cute for spring/summer with a flowy dress/skirt.

i loved the army green color on this one. it was brand new, for only $4.99.
the bright orange inside, definitely gives it that pop of color that it needs.
this were an instant eye catcher too. they're a half size smaller than i wear, because i normally would wear a 7, but they were too cute to pass up. i can fit into 6 1/2s, depending on the style of the shoe. thankgoodness, these fit me.

the bottom of the soles were in really great shape too.

then, on my way home, i stopped by jcp to kill some time. i've had my eyes on this jacket, ever since it came into the store, but it was always a little too pricey for me. it finally went down to $24, and when i tried it on, i fell in love with it. $24 is still a little too pricey in my opinion, but i loved it enough to pay the price. lol since it wasn't too cold that day, i actually wore it after i purchased it.

i think that i'm done shopping....for shirts that is. lol i still need to look for a dress, since i might be going to california for my sister's wedding in march.

shopping haul part 2.....

i told myself that i wasn't going to shop this year for myself, but since it was my birthday at the beginning of the month, i decided to finally spoil myself just a little. i always get coupons from jcpenney, so today i decided to stop in to take a look. i had a $10 off of $25.

i found this olsenboye chiffon peasant top in the clearance section. it was on sale for $14.99, but with my coupon, it came out to $9.32. (the Olsenboye brand is by mary-kate and ashley olsen).

i loved the buttoned cuff. it makes it super cute.

since that shirt was only $14.99, i had to look around for $10 worth of other stuff to buy to use my coupon. i ended up in the shoe department. i always look in the clearance section because i can usually find really cute shoes for super cheap. i first had my eye on a pair of red heels for $9 but they didn't have my size. the half size up was too loose. =( i was bummed, but then saw these in the next aisle over. they were a half size larger than my normal size, but since these weren't pumps, they fit perfectly. these were on clearance for $9 something too, but with my coupon discount, they only came up to $6.46!!! they had a brown pair too, but they weren't in my size. =( i would've definitely bought the brown pair too.

since i was still under my $25 goal, i picked up these pink soft socks for $3.99, but with the discount, they came up to $2.58.

my grand total for all 3 items: $18.36.

i also had a coupon for sally's beauty supply. since it was my birthday, they emailed me a $10 off of $20 coupon. i knew that i wanted a curling iron, and since they were having a promotion, i received a mini curler for free! the total for this purchase was $18 something also. which was a great deal considering that the original price on the bigger iron was $26 and the smaller one was $19.

i'm still shopping for a new black purse for myself, but i might have to wait til after christmas when they clearance off more stuff. overall, i'm pretty happy with the purchases that i made. =)

30% off at old navy

i received their email coupon the other day and decided to check out what they had in the store. i haven't shopped there for a while now because i haven't had the money to really spend on clothes. plus, i've been trying to NOT shop as much. i wasn't going to buy anything, but since their sweaters were $15 and under, i bought two. these were on sale for $10, but with the 30% off they were only $7. for the material and price, they were worth it. i loved how the bottom was cut shorter than the back.

these two tanks were $1.97, but with the 30% , they came out to be $1.38.  i love layering, so these would be great under my many sweaters and cardigans that i already own.

i also love old navy's basics. i love their t-shirts. i wanted to get more, but opted out since they didn't have any other colors that i would wear. instead, i got the long sleeve henley for $3.50 with the 30% off discount. it was already a good deal at $5, but even better at what i got it for.

the last thing i bought from old navy was this anorak for $10.48. originally $14.97. i can't wait for spring so that i can wear it out.
